No, sorry. Refdesk.com is a for-profit organization, so your contributions are not tax-deductible.
Can I subscribe using a check?
No, sorry. If you want an Ad-Free subscription, you must pay by credit/debit card. Check payments are only for contributions.
I only use checks, not credit cards. How can I subscribe?
Our system does accept payments from gift cards. You can use your checking account to purchase a Visa Check card from Amazon (or any vendor of your choice) for exactly $25, or any larger amount you wish. Amazon includes free shipping on gift cards (next day in many cases).
I don't want to subscribe to Ad-Free Refdesk. Where can I mail a contribution check?

I only want to contribute. Must I subscribe to Ad-Free Refdesk?
If you contribute $25 or more with a credit/debit card, you will be awarded with a complimentary Ad-Free refdesk subscription as our gift to you. Although the account will be automatically created for you, there is no requirement for you to use it. If you do not want an account at all, you may contact us to have your account deleted after you submit your contribution.
If you pay by check, we will not create an Ad-Free account for you, regardless of the amount you send.
Do you support Paypal? Where did it go?
After tremendous feedback from our subscribers, we decided to remove Paypal as a payment option. It was very problematic for us. In the interest of simplicity we replaced the Paypal payment system with a new one that allows you to pay by credit/debit card.
What about my Paypal auto-renewal?
We have cancelled your "auto-renewal" subscription in Paypal for you. You may create a new automatic renewal with our system when you make a new payment here.
How is my credit card number saved?
We do not save your credit card number at all on our web servers. When you make payments, your payment card information is not routed at all through our systems. Card information is sent directly from your web browser to the payment processor for your bank to process the transaction.
All transmissions of your credit card over the internet are secured using the strongest available SSL encryption technology available for e-commerce. Your login password is also protected using this same technology.
How do I change my password?
If you forgot your password, or want to change it, use our password reset tool. Supply the email address you use to log in, and it will email you a password reset link. Click on that link and select a new password.
I'm unable to log in to Ad-Free Refdesk. How can I fix it?
If you already tried to reset your password,
and were able to log in before now, you may have a stale browser cookie preventing your login.
To delete that cookie, visit this link, and your old session will be logged out.
Then you may log in again with a fresh session.
Once logged in, you will not need to log in again using that same web browser for up to a full year.
Note that Refdesk requires cookies for logged in users.
If your browser blocks cookies, you will need to allow them for https://refdesk.com.
